Sidney Exchange - 2019

CLBC President, Ross Bulley, presents the Boat to Ron Smith, president of the Sidney Lawn Bowling Club. The Boat was carried back to Sidney following the tournament, to be retrieved by Cowichan next year.

Seven teams of mixed triples from the Sidney Lawn Bowling Club visited Cowichan for the annual lawn bowling exchange between the two clubs. Two 12-end games were played, one prior to lunch and the second after lunch.

After the first game, it looked like Sidney would win by a very healthy margin, having lost only one game of the seven played. However, Cowichan rallied in the second game and reduced the deficit to a more respectable figure. The final score was Sidney 23 and Cowichan 17.
